The Annual Stratford on the Avenue Theatre Festival
July-August

The 2020 outdoor theatre festival was canceled due to the COVID-19 virus. Stay tuned for information on Stratford on the Avenue 2021
The event is held at Rotary Park (formerly City Park) in downtown Ludington and features classical play performances by the likes of Shakespeare, Molière, Wild, etc. The 2019 event included a classic performance of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream and an abridged, comedic adaptation of Othello entitled "Oh H*ll No!" and written/directed by Erin Thibalt.
Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and picnic blankets for the show.
Tickets are generally $7 in advance at EventBrite.com and $10 at the gate.
There are also concessions and t-shirts for sale and all proceeds benefit upcoming Stage Left programs like their Youth Theatre Project, acting workshops, and educational scholarships.
