Irons Annual Flea Roast & Ox Market

June 2026

The Flea Roast and Ox Market is filled with family entertainment for all. Occurring annually in June and hosted by the Irons Area Tourist Association at Skinner Park in Irons, the festival is the group’s main fundraiser.

The four-day festival features amusement rides, live music performances, tournaments, kids games and contests, flea burger food tent, ox market (raffle and souvenir booths), parade and fireworks. 

Things to Know...

  • Admission/Parking is free on Thursday & Sunday; $5/person, 12 and under free OR $15/carload on Friday & Saturday. Carnival wristbands are $30 each.
  • NO PETS – for your pets welfare, you will not be allowed to leave them in your vehicle.
  • No outside coolers/drinks or food allowed.
  • Hours: Thursday, June 27th from 4-10pm; Friday, June 28th from 1pm-12:30am; Saturday, June 29th from 11am-12:30am; and Sunday, June 30th from 12-4pm.

Thursday

  • 4pm – Opening Ceremonies at the flagpole
  • 4:30pm – Ox Market, IATA Food Booth, Beer Tent, Souvenir Booth, Raffle Booth, & Amusement Rides Opens, for more info or an application for the Ox Market, email kimjromack@gmail.com
  • 5pm – Pie Baking Contest, winners announced at 6pm
  • 6pm – Live music featuring Larry Bialik and the Ramblin’ Band in the Pavilion
  • 7pm – Free Kids Penny Scramble at the Sandbox
  • 7:30pm – Kids Bike Raffle (Ages 10 and under) at the Raffle Booth
  • 8pm – Ox Market Closes
  • 9pm – Food & Souvenir Booths Close
  • 10pm – IATA Raffle Booth, Beer Tent & Skinner Park Close

Friday

  • 1pm – Ox Market, IATA Food Booth, Beer Tent, Souvenir Booth, Raffle Booth, & Amusement Rides Opens
  • 2pm – Chain Saw Carving by Wood Butcher at the flagpole
  • 2pm – Free Kids Penny Scramble at the Sandbox
  • 4pm – Chain Saw Carving by Wood Butcher at the flagpole
  • 4:30pm – Live music featuring Daniel James in the Pavilion
  • 6pm – Corn Hole Tournament South of Buck Pole, $20/team
  • 6pm – Chain Saw Carving by Wood Butcher at the flagpole
  • 6:30pm – Free Kids Penny Scramble at the Sandbox
  • 7pm – Rodeo by Flying Star (bring your own chair) at the Horse Corral
  • TBA – Kids Bike Raffle (Ages 10 and under) at the Raffle Booth
  • 8pm – Live music featuring Whiskey Rebels in the Pavilion
  • 8pm – Ox Market Closes
  • 9pm – Souvenir Booth Closes

Saturday

  • 8am – Co-Ed Softball Tournament at the softball field
  • 10am – Registration for Horseshoe Tournament at the Ticket Booth
  • 10:30am – Parade along 10 1/2 Mile Rd., for registration form or more information, email Cynthia at fromparade2024@outlook.com
  • 11am – Ox Market & Beer Tent Open
  • 11am – Horseshoe Tournament at N.W. Tall Pines, $20/team
  • 11am – Raffle Booth, Souvenir Booth, IATA Food Booth, & Amusements Open
  • 12pm – Free Kids Penny Scramble at the Sandbox
  • 12-7pm – Flea Roast 5k Early Check-in/Late Registration at the Raffle Booth
  • 12:30pm – Kids Sack Races at the Souvenir Booth (age divisions: 5-7, 8-10, & 11-12)
  • 12:30pm – Live music featuring the Scottville Clown Band in the Pavilion
  • 1pm – Kids Bubble Gum Blowing Contest at the Souvenir Booth (age divisions: 5-7, 8-10, & 11-12)
  • 1:30pm – Kids Egg Toss at the Souvenir Booth (age divisions: 5-7, 8-10, & 11-12)
  • 2pm – Chain Saw Carving by Wood Butcher at the flagpole
  • 2pm – Kids Hula Hoop Contest at the Souvenir Booth (age divisions: 5-7, 8-10, & 11-12)
  • 3pm – Arm Wrestling in the Pavilion
  • 4pm – Chain Saw Carving by Wood Butcher at the flagpole
  • 4pm – Corn Hole Tournament South of Buck Pole, $20/team
  • 4:30pm – Live music featuring Steve Chapel in the Pavilion
  • 6pm – Chain Saw Carving by Wood Butcher at the flagpole
  • 6-7pm – Police Department vs. Fire Department in the Dunk Tank
  • 6:30pm – Free Kids Penny Scramble at the Sandbox
  • 8pm – Ox Market Closes
  • 8:30pm – Live music featuring Trixy Tang in the Pavilion
  • 9pm – Souvenir Booth Closes
  • 10pm – IATA Food Booth & Raffle Booth, & Amusement Rides Close
  • Dark Thirty – Fireworks
  • 12am – Beer Tent Closes
  • 12:30am – Skinner Park Closes

Sunday

  • 8am – Flea Roast 5k Run/Walk Check-in. Click here for a registration form.
