Easter Events in West Michigan

Spring 2026

Springtime means Easter, and there are lots of Easter events in Ludington, Scottville, Manistee, Pentwater, and the surrounding areas that give kids a chance to celebrate!

Non-profit organizations and businesses provide children with fun, wholesome, indoor and outdoor Easter activities to help beat the blahs of the winter to spring transition. From visits with the Easter bunny to an egg scramble on roller skates, there’s lots of fun activities for kids of all ages!

Easter Events That Are Typically Held Each Year:

Mason County

  • Egg My House – The Mason County Central Student Council will deliver/hide pre-filled candy and treat eggs in your yard. Cost is $25 for 25 eggs, $40 for 50 eggs, and $75 for 100 eggs. You can also add a jumbo egg for $5. 
  • Egg My Yard. JCI Ludington (the Ludington Area Jaycees) will deliver/hide pre-filled candy and treat eggs in the evening before Easter Sunday for a hassle free Easter Egg hunt on Easter morning. Children can enjoy, long distance relatives can send their love, and families can spend more time together while supporting the Ludington Area Jaycees community programs. Available to households in Mason County. Cost is $25 for 30 eggs, $45 for 50 eggs, and $65 for 70 eggs. Baskets are also available for $5 each. 
  • Photos with the Easter Bunny at Gold N Deals- 112 S. Main St., Scottville. Cookies & drinks will be provide and there will be a raffle for 3 Easter baskets.
  • Create an Easter Card Craft at Sandcastles Children’s Museum- 129 E. Ludington Ave., Ludington. Regular admission fees apply.
  • Easter Egg Hunt in the front parking lot at Medilodge- 1000 E. Tinkham Ave., Ludington.
  • Easter Egg Hunt at the American Legion- 318 N. James St., Ludington. This free event is open to kids ages 1-10 years old.
  • Easter Egg Hunt & visits with the Easter Bunny at the Ludington Eagles Outdoor Park- 3216 N. Sherman Rd.., Ludington.  
  • Easter Egg Hunt at Ludington United Methodist Church- 5810 Bryant Rd., Ludington. There will also be a book walk, snacks, and crafts.
  • Special Needs Easter Egg Hunt at Circle Rocking S Children’s Farm- 5487 N. Tuttle Rd., Free Soil. After the hunt, stay for egg crafts and coloring Easter pictures.  Those wishing to participate should bring two hard boiled eggs. Prizes for best Easter Bonnet. The event is free to people of all ages with special needs. RSVP by April 12th by calling (231) 462-3732 or emailing circlerockingsfarm@att.net.
  • Teen Eggs-travaganza Egg Hunt at the Ludington Library- 217 E. Ludington Ave., Ludington.
  • Easter Egg Hunt & Party at  St. John’s Lutheran Church- 209 N. Rowe in Ludington.
  • Community Easter Family Fun Party at Our Savior Lutheran Church- 765 US 10 in Scottville. Egg hunt, games, crafts, and refreshments.
  • Easter Egg Hunt (1pm), Egg Toss (2pm), and back yard open for food/drinks.  Stix- 1963 N. Lakeshore Dr., Ludington.
  • Easter Egg Hunt  at Cornerstone Baptist Church- 121 Nelson Rd. in Ludington. Rain or shine. Children in Elementary school and younger are welcome.
  • Easter Egg Hunt for kids age 12 and under at Walmart’s Lawn & Garden Center- 4854 US-10, Ludington.
  • Love Out Loud Eggstream Block Party at Living Word Church- 301 N. Jebavy Dr., Ludington. Egg Scramble, giveaways, games, and free food.
  • Easter Brunch at Stix- 1963 N. Lakeshore Dr., Ludington.
  • Easter Egg Hunt at Ludington Area St. Paul- 3212 W. Kinney Rd., Ludington. 
  • Easter Egg Hunt at Pioneer Church- 2980 US-10, Ludington.
  • Easter Dinner at Scotty’s- 5910 W. US-10, Ludington. Dinner menu and Easter specials.

Oceana County

  • Easter Egg Hunt at Village Park- 206 Main St., Walkerville.
  • Easter Egg Hunt at Webster Park- 80 S. Division St., Hesperia.
  • Visits with the Easter Bunny at 11am followed by an Egg Hunt at 11:30am. Rothbury Village Hall- 7804 S. Michigan Ave., Rothbury.
  • Community Easter Egg Hunt – Trinity Lutheran Church- 5631 W. Stony Lake Dr., New Era. Open the public.
  • Colleen Plummer’s Annual Easter on the Green on the Village Green- 327 S. Hancock St., Pentwater. Sponsored by The Antler Bar and the Pentwater Chamber of Commerce. Easter Bunny, egg hunt, bonnet parade and contest, musical chairs, face painting and games.
  • Easter Egg Hunt at the Oceana Fairgrounds- 1025 S. State St., Hart. Event includes 10,000 eggs, the Easter Bunny, a Candy Shoot by Lewis Farms, and the Country Dairy Cow Mascot. There will be three age categories: Toddler (0-3), Early Elementary (4-8), and Elementary (8-12).
  • Easter Egg Hunt with Lewis Farms’ Candy Cannon at New Christian School Soccer Field- 1901 Oak Ave, New Era.
  • New Era Community Easter Egg Hunt at the Oceana Fairgrounds- 1025 S. State St., Hart.

Manistee County

  • Easter Egg Scramble to benefit the Wellston Fireworks fund at The pavilion area of Crystal Lake- Oak & 2nd Streets, Wellston. Four age groups for ages 0-12 years old plus a division for those special needs. 
  • Easter Egg Hunt with two age categories. Sponsored by the Brethren Boosters Club. Dickson Township Park- 14270 Coates Hwy, Brethren.
  • Easter Egg Hunt & Easter Bunny visit to benefit the class of 2031 at Onekama Conslidated Schools- 5016 Main St., Onekama. Cost is $5/person or $10/family.
  • Easter Egg Hunt at Blaine Christian Church- 7018 Putney Rd., Arcadia.
  • Sportsman’s Port Annual Easter Egg Hunt at 10487 W. M-55, Wellston. In addition to the hunt, the Easter Bunny will be there and all kids will receive a candy bag.
  • Easter Party at First Congregational United Church of Christ- 4920 Spring St., Onekama.
  • Easter Egg Hunt at the Pleasant Valley Community Center- 3586 Glovers Lake Rd., Arcadia.
  • Easter Egg Hunt at The Outsider- 457 River St., Manistee.
  • Easter Egg Hunt & Party at Bridges Church- 387 1st St., Manistee.  
  • Easter Brunch at Arcadia Bluffs (South Course)- 14710 Northwood Hwy, Arcadia.

Benzie County

  • Easter Egg Hunt and Easter Bunny Visit, hosted by Frankfort-Elberta Area Chamber of Commerce. Mineral Springs Park- 630 Main St., Frankfort.
  • Crystal Lake Community Business Association Easter Egg Extravaganza at Memorial Park- 6869 South St., Benzonia

Lake County

  • Easter Egg Hunt  with hot dogs, prizes, and a visit by the Easter Bunny at Luther Ball Fields- 823 William Dr., Luther. 
  • Easter Celebration Weekend including an Easter Egg Scramble on Saturday from 11am-1pm and a Jelly Bean Jubilee service and community dinner Sunday with free food, games, and giveaways. Living Waters Fellowship- 7410 M-37, Baldwin.
  • Easter Egg Hunt for ages 2-12 include hot dog, chips, and drink. VFW Post 5315- 2225 M-37, Baldwin.
  • Easter Giveaway at Pathfinder Community Library- 812 Michigan Ave., Baldwin.
  • Sauble, Eden, & Elk Fire Departments Easter Egg Hunt for ages 1-12 at Skinner Park- 5074 W. 10 1/2 Mile Rd., Irons. There will also be photos with the Easter Bunny.
  • Easter Egg Hunt for ages 1-12 at the Duane E. Dewey AMVETS Post No. 1988- 1959 W. 24th St., Baldwin. Please bring a basket to collect eggs.
