There's a Variety of Great Music During the Summer in West Michigan

After a busy day at the beach or at work, it’s time to kick back and relax a while. What better way than to listen to some music? You can find performances almost any night of the week, all within a short driving distance. Area musicians as well as professional traveling groups are featured in these summertime performances. For the outdoor venues, grab your lawnchair or a blanket and get ready to be entertained. Outdoor performances are free; there may be a charge for an indoor venue performance. Below is the typical schedule for summer music. Stay tuned as events for 2023 will be added as information becomes available!

Sundays

  • Mid June-late August, 2026 at 6:30pm – Praise by the Pier at 101 North Harbor Dr., Grand Haven
  • Early July-late August, 2026 from 2-4pm – Music at the Marina at Pentwater Municipal Marina- 519 S. Hancock St., Pentwater

Mondays

  • Mid June-Labor Day, 2026 at 7pm – Jammin’ Mondays on Betsie Bay, Waterfront Park Amphitheater- Centre St., Elberta
  • Late June-mid August, 2026 from 7-9pm – Concerts in the Park at Village Park- Portage Ave., Onekama. (Rain Location: Onekama Community Schools Cafeteria)

Tuesdays

  • Second & Fourth Tuesdays from June-September 2026, 5-7pm – New Era Farmers Market Concerts at 1820 Ray Ave., New Era
  • Mid June-early August, 2026 at 7pm (no concert on 7/29) – Sounds of Summer Concert Series in Bolt Park- 225 Franklin Ave., Grand Haven
  • Mid June-Labor Day, 2026 at 7pm – Manistee Shoreline Showcase at Rotary Gazebo- First Street Beach- 100 S. Lakeshore Dr., Manistee
  • Early July-mid August, 2026 at 7pm – Friends of the Ludington State Park Summer Series (most are held at the Ludington State Park Amphitheater- 8800 M-116, Ludington)
  • Early July-mid August, 2026 at 7pm – Muskegon Free Summer Concert Series at McGraft Park- 2204 Wickham Drive, Muskegon
  • Early July-early August, 2026 from 6:30-8pm – Silver Lake Concert Series at Golden Township Park at Silver Lake Sand Dunes- 8453 W. Silver Lake Rd., Golden Township

Wednesdays

  • Early June-late August, 2026 at 7pm in June & July, and at 6:30pm in August – Music on the Grand at Lynne Sherwood Waterfront Stadium- 1 N. Harbor Dr., Grand Haven
  • Mid June-late August, 2026 from 7-9:15pm – Echo through the Timber at Wenger Pavilion- 868 Michigan Ave., Baldwin

  • June 25th-August 27th, 2026 from 7-9pm – Music on the Commons at the Hart Commons- 206 E. Main St., Hart
