Arcadia Daze

July 2025

The small town of Arcadia is located in Manistee along M-22, showcasing northwest Michigan’s most scenic shoreline. Annually, late in July, the Village population soars with attendees and participants in the annual Arcadia Daze celebration. Events include an arts/crafts show, auto muster, 5k race, kids fishing and games, entertainment, grand parade, and concert.

Here's what happened in 2024:

(Events are held at Finch Park, unless stated otherwise.)

Thursday

  • 7-8pm – Railroad Society of Northwest Michigan Panel speaking on early railways in Northern Michigan at the United Methodist Church- 17250 4th St., Arcadia

Friday

  • 10am – Pickleball Tournament, pre-registration required at Pleasant Valley Community Center- 3586 Glovers Lake Rd. 
  • 3pm – Pickleball Tournament continues
  • 4:30-5pm – Opening Ceremonies featuring Arcadia VFW Post
  • 5pm – Pulled Pork Sandwiches (served until sold out)
  • 5-8pm – Live music featuring Barefoot at the Park Pavilion
  • 5pm-Dusk – Free Horse Drawn Carriage Rides across from Trinity Lutheran Church at 17191 3rd St.
  • 5pm-1am – Beverage Tent Open
  • 9pm-1am – Live music 
  • After Dark – Fireworks at Sunset Station- End of Lake Street (Saturday rain date)

Saturday

  • 7:30-8:45am – 5k Registration
  • 8am-12pm – Lions Club Pancake Breakfast at 4th & Oak Streets, $10 per person
  • 8am-12pm – Auto Muster Registration at 2nd & Lake Streets
  • 9am SHARP – 5k Run begins at corner of Saint Pierre & Glovers Lake Rds
  • 9-10am – Free fishing for kids ages 4-12 at Grebe Park- 16966 1st St., gear provided
  • 10-11am – Children’s Story Time: All About Trains at the Arcadia History Museum- 3340 Lake St.
  • 10am-1:30pm – Free Horse Drawn Carriage Rides across from Trinity Lutheran Church at 17191 3rd St.
  • 10am-5pm – Kids Sight Trailer with free vision screenings across from Finch Park

  • 10:30am-1:30pm – Free Kids Activities (visit from Bluey, bounce house, face painting, train crafts, and more)
  • 11am-4pm – Arcadia & Betsey Railroad Exhibit at the Arcadia History Museum- 3340 Lake St.
  • 11:30am – Ham & German Potato Salad Lunch at Trinity Lutheran Church- 17191 3rd St.
  • 12pm-1am – Beverage Tent Open
  • 3pm – Doubles Cornhole Tournament at Tennis Courts
  • 3-3:30pm – Auto Muster Awards
  • 4:30pm (until sold out) – Barbeque Chicken Dinner
  • 4:30pm (until gone) – Iron Fish Distillery Beverages served
  • 5-8pm – Live music at the Park Pavilion
  • 5pm-Dusk – Free Horse Drawn Carriage Rides across from Trinity Lutheran Church at 17191 3rd St.
  • 9pm-1am – Live music 

Sunday

  • 8am-12pm – Lions Club Pancake Breakfast at 4th & Oak Streets, $10 per person
  • 10am-2:30pm – Arts & Crafts Show on 4th St.
  • 11am-3:30pm – Balloon Artist “Twister Joe”
  • 11am-4pm – Arcadia & Betsey Railroad Exhibit at the Arcadia History Museum
  • 12-5pm – Beverage Tent Open
  • 12:30-1:15pm –  Plymouth Fife & Drum Concert Drum March, Finch Park to Marina
  • 1:30-2:30pm – Parade on Lake St.
  • 2:30-3pm – Lions Raffle Drawings
  • 3-4:30pm – Scottville Clown Band Concert
