There's a Variety of Great Music During the Summer in West Michigan

After a busy day at the beach or at work, it’s time to kick back and relax a while. What better way than to listen to some music? You can find performances almost any night of the week, all within a short driving distance. Area musicians as well as professional traveling groups are featured in these summertime performances. For the outdoor venues, grab your lawnchair or a blanket and get ready to be entertained. Outdoor performances are free; there may be a charge for an indoor venue performance. Below is the typical schedule for summer music. Stay tuned as events for 2023 will be added as information becomes available!

Sundays

  • June-August 2025 from 2-4pm – Music at the Marina at Pentwater Municipal Marina- 519 S. Hancock St., Pentwater

Mondays

  • June 16th-September 1st, 2025 – Jammin’ Mondays on Betsie Bay, Waterfront Park Amphitheater- Centre St., Elberta.
  • June 23rd-August 11th, 2025 from 7-9pm – Concerts in the Park at Village Park- Portage Ave., Onekama. (Rain Location: Onekama Community Schools Cafeteria).

Tuesdays

  • June 17th-September 2nd, 2025 – Manistee Shoreline Showcase at Rotary Gazebo- First Street Beach- 100 S. Lakeshore Dr., Manistee.
  • July 8th-August 19th, 2025 at 7pm – Muskegon Free Summer Concert Series at McGrath Park- 2204 Wickham Drive, Muskegon.
  • June-August 2025 – Friends of the Ludington State Park Summer Concert Series (most are held) at the Ludington State Park Amphitheater- 8800 M-116, Ludington.
  • Second & Fourth Tuesdays from June-September 2025, 5-7pm – New Era Farmers Market Concerts at 1820 Ray Ave., New Era.
  • Select Fridays from June-August 2025 – Sounds of Summer Concert Series in Bolt Park- 225 Franklin Ave., Grand Haven.
  • July-August 2025 from 6:30-8pm – Silver Lake Concert Series at Golden Township Park at Silver Lake Sand Dunes- 8453 W Silver Lake Rd, Golden.

Wednesdays

  • June 18th-September 3rd, 2025 from 7-9pm – LACA Summer Music Series at Waterfront Park- 391 S. William St., Ludington.
  • June-August 2025 at 7pm – Sounds of Summer Concert Series in Pottawattamie Park- 15600 Comstock St., Grand Haven.
  • June-August 2025 from 7-9:15pm – Echo through the Timber at Wenger Pavilion- 868 Michigan Ave., Baldwin.

Thursdays

  • June 5th-August 28th, 2025 from 6-8pm – Live Music in the Plaza in Legacy Plaza– N. James St., Ludington.
  • Every other Thursday, June 18th-August 20th, 2025 from 7-8pm – Night at the Lights Concert Series at Little Sable Lighthouse- 287 N. Lighthouse Dr., Mears.
  • June 26th-August 28th, 2025 from 7-9pm – Music on the Commons at the Hart Commons- 206 E. Main St., Hart.
  • June 26th-August 28th, 2025 from 7:30-8:30pm – Pentwater Civic Band on the Village Green- 327 S. Hancock St., Pentwater.
  • July 4th-August 8th, 2025 from 7-9pm – Roots on the River at the Manistee Jaycees Riverwalk Bandshell- 117 Memorial Dr., Manistee. Rain location is the 5th Avenue Beach House.
  • June-August 2025 at 7pm – Music in the Streets– 273 S. Benzie Blvd., Beulah.
