Visit downtown Manistee, a destination known as the Victorian Port City. Mileage markers have been placed every tenth mile to gauge your distance and it is handicap accessible with ramps on both ends. Manistee Events

The Manistee County area is home to many great events throughout the year that are fun for the whole family. There are a dozen or so car shows throughout the area from May to September. If you’re looking for a great way to celebrate Independence Day, the Manistee Forest Festival has events for four days during the 4th of July week each year. The week-long Manistee County Fair is held in Onekama each August and has a myriad of activities to offer. And, perhaps Manistee’s most well-known and popular event, the Victorian Sleighbell Parade & Old Christmas Weekend takes place at the beginning of December.
