Fridays from March 4th-April 15th, 5-7pm

Lenten Fish Frys
Drive-thru fish frys at St. Joseph Parish Hall- 2349 W. Jackson Rd., Weare Township. Cost is $13 and includes choice of fried or baked fish, vegetable, potatoes, cole slaw, dinner roll, and choice of dessert. For more information, call (231) 873-5776.

Fridays from March 4th-April 15th, 4:30-7pm

Lenten Fish Frys in Baldwin
Fish frys at St. Ann’s Senior Center- 690 9th St., Baldwin. Cost is $10 for Adults, $5 for kids ages 5-12, and Kids under 4 are free. Dinners include Cod and Pollock baked or fried, dinner roll with butter, french fries or baked potato, cole slaw, mac and cheese and a dessert.

Victory Early Childhood Center Great Start Readiness Preschool Program Registration
Families with children who turn 4 on or before September 1st, 2022, are invited to register for the Great Start Readiness Preschool Program at the Mason County Central High School Cafeteria- 300 W. Broadway St., Scottville. Parents should bring the child’s birth certificate and a copy of their 2021 income tax W2 form or other current income verification. Families with children turning 4 between September 2nd-December 1st, 2022, and those interested in the Center’s tuition-based program, should call Victory Early Childhood Center at (231) 843-2410.

Tuesday, April 5th, 5-6:30pm 

GSRP/Preschool Round-Up at Small Wonders
Families with children who will be 4 by September 1st, 2022 are invited to register for the Great Start Readiness Program or Preschool. Enrollment requires the child’s birth certificate and proof of family income. Small Wonders Child Development Center- 5757 W. Johnson Rd., Ludington. Ludington Preschool Round-Up
Families with children who will be 3 or 4 by September 1st, 2022 are invited to learn about preschool programs and the enrollment process, and meet the staff. Enrollment requires a driver’s license, and the child’s birth certificate and proof of immunizations. Ludington Elementary School- 5771 Bryant Rd., Ludington.

The Accidentals Performance
A collaboration between West Shore Community College and the Ramsdell Regional Center for the Arts. Ramsdell Regional Center for the Arts- 101 Maple St., Manistee. Purchase tickets by visiting ci.ovationtix.com.

Wednesday, April 13th from 4-6pm AND Thursday, April 14th, 5-7pm

Kindergarten Round-Up at Spitler Elementary School
Families with children turning 5 on or before September 1st, 2022 are invited to register from the 2022-2023 school year. Registration forms will be available at the Spitler Elementary School office or the Central Business Office beginning on Monday, April 4th or register online at hartschools.net/spitler. In order to register, parents should bring the child’s birth certificate, up-to-date immunization records, proof of residency, hearing/vision screening, and the parent or guardian’s photo ID. Hart Hills Bike Race
Race starts and finishes in downtown Hart with a 5, 10, 25, and 50 mile option offered. Refreshments will be available at the finish line. Overall and age group winners will be recognized with a unique medal. For more information or to register, visit harthills.com.

Ludington Lake Jump
Participants raise money for a new organization each year and jump into the frigid waters of Lake Michigan. Registration at 10:30am, jump at 11am. Stearns Park, Ludington.

AFFEW Earth Day Events
Presentations, informational booths, kids activities, and more. Free and open to the public. United Methodist Church of Ludington- 5810 W. Bryant Rd., Ludington.

Mason County Eastern Athletic Boosters Auction
Admission is $10 per person or $5 per person who already donated to the auction. Tickets include a taco bar, coffee, and water, and attendees are welcome to BYOB. The event includes a silent auction, live auction, 50/50 drawing, mystery prize (valued at $200), and more. Some auction items of note include a fishing charter, paddle board, handmade wooden American firefighter flag, and several quilts. Sherman Township Hall- 3854 E. Main St., Fountain.

Benefit for Elizabeth Rice
Jones Homemade Ice Cream- 858 Michigan Ave., Baldwin, is hosting a fundraiser for Elizabeth Rice, a child who was diagnosed with cancer in December. 5% of all proceeds during this event will help Elizabeth’s family with expenses.

State of the State Park Virtual Presentation

Infant & Maternal Health Fair at Baker College
Experts in child passenger safety, safe sleep, infant health, and pregnancy support will be on hand to help families stay safe and healthy. Annual Spring Tree Sale Pickup
