The Ludington Lighthouse Triathlon takes place each summer in downtown Ludington, where Ludington Avenue ends right at Stearns Park Beach.

West Shore Bank hosts the Rhythm & Dunes Summer Concert Series each summer at the Waterfront Park Pavilion in downtown Ludington.

The Northwestern Michigan Fair in Traverse City is held in mid-August on Blair Townhall Road, Traverse City. It was established in 1908.

The Village of Brethren is located in Dickson Township about 15 miles east of Manistee. Brethren Days is held over Labor Day weekend.

The Oceana County Fair is a five-day, fun-filled event held at the fairgrounds in Hart.
